A very unique Belgium amber ale. Quite impressive. Pours a very thick, frothy head. Aroma is spicey and rather pugnent, however, the taste is exceptionally driven by a mild blend of sweet hops and malty grain, with a slight tangy-ness that leaves the tongue wishing for more. Colour is golden amber with a slight cloudiness – due to the suspended yeast and bottle fermentation. Brewed by a rather newcomer, Het Nest Brouwerij (currently brewing offsite at Anders brewery until proprietary brewery is built), in the northeast municipality of Halen, Belgium. 6.5% ABV.
