Dark, velvety, and damn smooth. Brewed in Straubing, Germany by Karmeliten Brauerei Karl Sturm, a regional-sized brewery strongly abiding by the 1516 Purtian Law (and seemingly very proud of it). A very wholesome and full-bodied dunkel lager with a rich deep amber colour and a frothy pour (about a full-finger width). Initial taste is very wholesome being slighty sweet, slightly malty and slightly nutty. Overall a very palatable experience and remarkable Munich-style Dunkel.
